FOREST DUNN
Growing up in Falmouth, Cornwall, Forest Dunn is entering his ninth year of motorcycle competition. Having only started racing in 2013, Forest quickly progressed to racing at a national level the following year.
The following season, he competed in the Northwest 200 and Ulster Grand Prix before making his debut outing at the infamous and unforgiving Isle of Man TT in 2016. Just three years after his first-ever competitive race start, with a fastest lap of the island’s 38-mile track with an average speed of 124.8mph, Forest earned himself the title of ‘worlds fastest Cornishman’.
The subsequent seasons have seen Forest compete across England and Northern Ireland, scoring results and building a name for himself against much more experienced, factory-backed riders.
IOMTT 2023
The Isle of Man TT race is widely regarded as one of the most famous and dangerous racing events in the world. The TT - or Tourist Trophy - event is contested across the challenging 37.73 mile road circuit, attracting the top motorcycle racers in the world.
Running as a privateer against the biggest teams in the sport, Forest made his debut at the event in 2016. With his previous results earning him an invitation for 2022, Forest returns to the island to take on his biggest challenge at the TT ever, and will compete across the Senior, Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes as he bids to become the fastest privateer and crack into the overall top-10.
“It is great to be confirming plans for 2023, and to be back competing across the UK at both road races and on track.
There has been a lot of work over the winter months to get ready for the new season. It is a busy calendar, but it’s exciting to have such a strong list of events to look forward to. I cannot wait to be out there challenging for greater results and improving at every event.
I am pushing harder and feeling more determined than ever this year, with a major focus on the Isle of Man TT. It is great to be able to be in a position to arrive at the event as a privateer and ultimately as an underdog, ready to take the fight to the big teams.
With an incredibly successful start to testing in 2023, the aim is to be challenging for a top-10 position overall, and be the top privateer.”
